Aria Las Vegas is one of the most impressive gaming resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. With over 4,000 guest rooms, the Aria exceeds expectations at any level of room type. The convenience of being located on the City Center campus provides a variety of shopping, dining, entertainment and gaming at different venues all within walking distance. Aria provides many great options for families as well, such as the Art Walk, Cirque du Soleil, Pool and Cabana and great restaurant options. (Make sure to request the special bath amenities for the little guys!) The Spa at Aria is one of the most relaxing experiences you will enjoy during your stay, with the Ganbanyoku, heated-stone beds and “Shio” salt room being a pleasurable highlight. Style is modern and eclectic with a cool ambiance in an exclusive space.

Four Seasons Las Vegas was a pioneer of luxury resorts on the Strip being one of the first and only resorts to be conceived without a casino. A beautiful foray leads you to the sophisticated comforts of a five-star resort you would find anywhere in the world. An intimate pool setting and access to the Mandalay Beach for hotel guests. Two fabulous dining options offer a variety of menus; at Verandah find brunch to poolside lunch to high tea and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. At Charlie Palmer enjoy a cocktail in the lounge, then indulge in gourmet steak and seafood dinner in a candle-lit room. As always, The Four Seasons offers great amenities for your little entourage to feel at home.

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is definitely on the hip side of the flip side. Stay here with tweens or teens or fly solo on this one. The groove here is all about the good times with a retro nod to a modern twist. Enjoy the art throughout the resort. Jump in on a game of Foozball at the Boulevard Pool. Catch the latest local band at the Book and Stage. Grab a hand crafted cocktail by a certified mixologist at the Vesper. Dine at some of the hottest restaurants on the Strip. Better yet, leave the kiddos at home. It really is just the right amount of wrong. You don’t want to confuse the young ones.

Bellagio Las Vegas is still one of the classiest joints in Las Vegas. European elegance is the name of the game, and everything about the place is still consistent and satisfying. The aromas, the music, the dining and shopping…it doesn’t miss a beat. With the introduction of Hyde and Lily, there really is no reason to leave the Bellagio for better entertainment, not to mention, it is home to one of the most coveted Cirque du Soleil shows on the Strip, “O”. From the dancing fountains to the Gallery of Fine Art, Bellagio is a great place to bring the little entourage, and can be quite accomodating in both the rooms, restaurants and pool areas. Don’t forget to visit the award winning Conservatory with changing seasonal decor, the Chocolate Fountain at Jean-Philippe, and the Aria Express for a round trip tram ride to City Center, Monte Carlo, and back.

Admit it. You’ve seen the billboards. Maybe you have even walked past the store. For some reason, you want to shop there, but you are afraid to go in. Come on. I know you are because I was, too.

Top Shop is the latest British import to invade the Las Vegas shopping scene, and has made it’s home at the Fashion Show Mall. From the outside looking in, it’s quite bright, loud and looks as though it’s made for twenty-something super models (are they still called that?), and even if you dare to enter, unescorted, there is a good chance you may walk out of there with the wrong impression. I’m telling you this, my readers, because I am a mid-to-late thirty-something, and TopShop is now on my “Hit List”.

With the help of local Las Vegas stylist, Christie Moeller, I was introduced to the fabulous, and necessary, luxury of Personal Shopping at Top Shop. Honestly, I would pass by there and want to go in. It totally appealed to me, but I didn’t know how to “shop” the line. I needed an expert. Christie directed me to Ginger, who heads up the Top Shop Personal Shopping, who then set up an experience second to none. Since I happened to be in the market for a birthday party dress, the staff ensured there was a special treat for me and my girlfriend as we perused the floor. Pink Champagne, a Red Velvet cupcake and our own personal dressing room awaited us. Ginger walked us through the floor, pointing out styles for the type of event we were looking for- Girls Night Out on the town in Vegas- and identifying what would work best with our body types, skin color and made sure it was age appropriate. All of us had our arms full as we headed back to the private dressing rooms. This part of the Top Shop Personal Shopping experience is worth it all on its own. Whether it be a celeb who wants to maintain a low-profile, society ladies, or busy moms like me, the Personal Shopping provides a VIP entrance accessible from outside the Fashion Show Mall. With a quick phone call, your Top Shop personal shopper will prepare an entire fitting room with outfits based on your needs. You can run in, try on, and buy all within an hour. Heaven.

Here’s the even skinny on the skinny…it’s totally free. The personal shoppers do not even make a commission. It’s a complimentary service Top Shop provides their customers. Talk about loyalty and retention! That completely sold me. In fact, I tried to go in there on the fly one day, and couldn’t hack it without my personal shopper. I did end up buying a killer pair of heels. Their shoes and accessories are amazing, by the way. Top Shop has their own line of shoes, beauty products and accessories. I love the shoes especially because for a price point of $100-200, you can buy some seriously fashion forward styles that will have people begging you to tell them where you scored those sexy stilettos. You can stay on-trend for the season without the guilt of knowing they probably won’t see day light next Spring. When I was talking to Christie about Top Shop, she explained they are considered a High Street Retailer, which is next in line to some of the major fashion power houses. Some may question the quality and the longevity of the pieces. I found the price point to be right in line with what I already budget for, and not only trend but classic pieces to add to my wardrobe. I’ve been pretty impressed with the quality, and I’ve received nothing but compliments on the items I have purchased. In fact, I love mixing a Top Shop piece with something traditional because I love the statement it makes.

Not everything in Top Shop will be your style or what you are looking for. In all honesty, the best pieces I have found so far have been through the help of the Personal Shopper, and I love them. I feel like I spent my money on something that was worth it and not just threw it at something I wanted in the moment. Even with wash and wear the blouses and dresses I bought still look brand new. You RSMLV Tip for Top Shop…call and schedule your personal shopping experience next time you are in Las Vegas. Give it a go! Call Top Shop today to set up your personal shopping experience: 702.866.0644.

Have you shopped at Top Shop? What did you think? What was your favorite purchase?

When I was 19 I backpacked through Eastern Europe, and my travels took me to the romantic city of Budapest in Hungary. It was in the late 1990’s and the tides were stil changing for Budapest, yet we managed to find the dark, winding, cobble stone roads that led us to candle lit pubs and buildings where ghostly scholars from the past used to wander. We also discovered the country-esque areas where the world was learning more about the natural occurring spas scattered across the Hungarian landscape. I remember sitting in a small pool of spring water with a modern day spa facility built around it, and thinking this is really awesome. I tried to recreate it once back in the U.S. with skin care products claiming to be straight from the source. Until this date, I had found nothing that brought me back to that time until I experienced a facial from Omorovicza. A small town in Hungary, rooted with regal history, Omorovicza is laden with the natural spas so many seek out, and a fairytale story to accompany it.

Once upon a time, there was a career savvy, American journalist who met an Hungarian prince. They fell in love. The rest is history. Amidst that history, she discovered the thermal waters found in her husband’s family’s hometown of Omorovicza cleared up any skin issues she suffered from. She suggested they find a way to bottle the benefits the waters provided to share with the rest of the world, and thus, the skin care line, Omorovicza, was born.

I was invited by Omorovicza to experience a world class facial at Neiman Marcus at the Fashion Show in Las Vegas. I’ve lived in this city for 30-some odd years and never knew there was an opportunity to experience such a thing at a department store; a very luxurious facial given by a licensed aesthetician in a spa-like atmosphere at Neiman Marcus. The Omorovicza facial itself was quite relaxing. The products were very soothing and nowhere near as evasive as the previous lines I have used. I was always a believer in, “No pain, no gain,” when it came to skin care. I wanted to feel the burn. The tingling told me that it was working; that the products were eating up my wrinkles and diminishing my lines. At the time when I went in for the Omorovicza facial, my skin was seriously struggling. I was in need of some serious love and affection from a product that could make all the break-outs, blemishes, and dry skin go away. After the facial, I had one compliment after another on how radiant and amazing my skin looked. I knew I was on to something.

I graciously accepted the travel bag Omorovicza offered after my facial, and continued to use the product day and night. Within days, my troubled skin was repairing itself. I love the Queen of Hungary Mist. From the moment I experienced the scent and the way the atomizer distributed the mist on my face, it brought me back to sitting in the thermal waters in Budapest. Nothing since had lived up to that exact memory. I loved hearing about each product and how it was produced, and that all the Omorovicza products are literally taken from the thermal waters and sediment, bottled and shared with the world. Even the Gentle Buffing Cleanser uses rocks from the waters to create the exfoliant. The Thermal Cleansing Balm wiped away all debris, even mascara, while the Rejuvenating Night Cream and the Balancing Moisturizer hydrated my skin all day and night, creating a suple cavas to apply my everyday make-up.

I am thoroughly addicted to the Omorovicza line, and have written my former skin care line a ‘Dear John”. I want you to experience the Omorovicza line first hand, too. Call Ilona today to schedule your facial. It retails for $175 at luxury spas around the country where the Omorovicza line is available. Currently, Omorovicza is available at select Four Seasons and St. Regis Hotels, select Neiman Marcus and Bergdof Goodmans throughout the United States.

When booking your appointment, please announce you are a RockStarMom Las Vegas reader to receive a special gift from Omorovicza. Enjoy this moment of tranquility and transform yourself to the thermal waters of Omorovicza in Hungary. Be good to yourself.

A purchase of 1-2 items is suggested when you book an Omorovicza facial. Contact Ilona at 702.731.3636 to schedule your appointment.

Omorovicza did provide me with several items from their line to review, however, all thoughts and words are my own.
